Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete reimbursement minus any handling charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions

Conditions: Requests must be made in writing through email or by phone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the total charter expense

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Conditions: A valid justification is required; administrative fees apply

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Refunds are not available

Exception: Cases of emergencies may be taken into account

Alternative: A charter voucher might be given at our discretion

Conditions: Proof required for claims of emergencies

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety takes precedence. If our certified captain determines that the weather is too hazardous for chartering, we offer several accommodations:

  • Full Refund: Issued if rescheduling isn’t feasible
  • Reschedule: Transfer your booking to a new available date without extra costs
  • Charter Credit: Issuance of a voucher valid for one year from the original date

Weather Assessment Process

The elements of our weather analysis include:

  • An evaluation of wind speed and direction
  • The state of the ocean and height of waves
  • Visibility and forecasted precipitation
  • Notices and cautions from the Coast Guard
  • A professional captain's assessment of safety

Decision Timeline: Determinations regarding weather cancellations are finalized at least 4 hours before the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Circumstances

We empathize with the unpredictability of medical crises. Here are the conditions that might warrant special consideration:

  • Acute illness or injury needing a hospital stay
  • A family member's passing
  • Impromptu military service or recall
  • Jury service or a legal summoning
  • Disasters affecting transportation

Documentation Requirements

To seek an emergency refund, furnish us with:

  • Verification from a medical institution or certificate
  • A death notification, if applicable
  • Official military documentation
  • Legal summoning or jury notice
  • Travel warnings or emergency declarations

Processing: Emergency refunds are addressed within 3-5 business days once proper documentation is given.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Issues

Should the assigned boat encounter mechanical problems we can’t fix immediately:

  • Alternative Vessel: Whenever possible, we'll look to provide an equivalent alternative
  • Full Refund: Granted if no similar option is at hand
  • Partial Refund: Given if the replacement vessel is priced differently
  • Compensation: Supplementary recompense might be provided for the inconvenience

Crew Unavailability

On the unusual occasion that a qualified crew is not obtainable:

  • We will try to arrange a replacement crew if viable
  • Issue a full refund if the charter can't go ahead
  • Propose rescheduling without any additional fees

Payment Method

Reimbursements are processed back to the original mode of payment for the booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Bank Transfer Processing

A €25 fee is applicable for all reimbursements completed via bank transfer

Charter Credits

When Credits Are Offered

In specific instances, charter credits might be presented in place of refunds:

  • For cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice
  • In the event of cancellations due to weather
  • Upon requests for voluntary changes to bookings
  • Amid operational disturbances

Credit Terms

  • Validity: 12 months from the issuance date
  • Transferability: Credits are non-transferable to other individuals
  • Value: Equates to the entire charter cost (excluding handling fees)
  • Usage: Applicable to any charter available
  • Expiration: There can be no deferral beyond 12 months

Partial Service Refunds

If your yacht rental is interrupted or curtailed due to factors within our command:

  • A refund proportional to the unused portion
  • A credit matching the future charter of identical worth
  • Complimentary offerings or upgrades

Guest-Related Interruptions

If a charter concludes prematurely because of guest misbehavior or breach of safety guidelines:

  • No reimbursement for the part not utilized
  • The full charge remains owing
  • Potential extra charges might be implemented

Dispute Resolution

Should you dispute a refund ruling, you can:

  • Solicit a review from our executive team
  • Submit further documentation or proof
  • Engage consumer protection organizations for arbitration
  • Seek judicial resolution in accord with prevailing laws

Our staff will confirm receipt of your petition within 24 hours, assess it in accordance with this guideline, present a determination within 48 hours, and handle endorsed reimbursements as per the specified timelines.

  • Refund claims must be documented in written form
  • Reimbursements are processed in €, regardless of the initial payment's currency
  • Securing travel insurance is highly suggested
  • This declaration of policy is subject to updates with a precedent notice of 30 days
  • Refunds comply with the pertinent taxes and regulations
